Midstates Championships Itinerary
(Contest starts at 10:30 a.m.)


*Breakfast:  7:30 a.m.
*Stretching:  7:50 a.m. (Be here by then!!)
*Practice:  8:20 – 10:20
*Loading Equipment/snacks/relax:  10:25 – 11:10
*Announcements: 11:10
* Leave Lloyd:  11:15
*Arrive /Unload:  11:45 – 12:15
*Dressing:  12:15 – 12:45
*To warm-ups:  12:55
*Warm-ups:  1:05 – 1:35
*To gate:  1:35
*Gate:  1:40
*Perform:  1:45
*Change out of uniforms:  2:00 – 2:40
*Leave for Mall to go eat:  2:45 – 4:15  (Boosters will kick in $5.00 towards meal)
*Back to contest:  4:20
*Watch rest of pre-lims:  4:30 – 5:30
*Pre-lim awards:  5:45
*Back to buses ASAP after awards for rest of schedule
*Finals:  7:15 – 9:30 p.m.  (We will eat in here somewhere)  Load equipment after performance
*Finals Awards:  10:00 p.m.
*Back to Lloyd 10:30 p.m.
*Arrive Lloyd/unload:  10:45 – 11:30 p.m.

*This show is sponsored by Norwood H.S. but held at:  (About 25 minutes by car)
                                                        Shea Stadium
                                                        2603 Harris Ave., Norwood, OH 45212

*The stadium is not on the main campus, follow directions below.

*Directions:

1.     Take I-75/71 North towards Cinn. Over the bridge – 8.0 miles
2.    Keep right, take I-71N Exit 1B toward US-50E – 0.08 miles
3.    Keep Right to take I-71 N towards Columbus – 7.1 miles
4.    Merge onto OH-562 W Exit 8B toward Norwood – 1.2 miles
5.    Take the Norwood exit #3 toward Us-22/Montgomery – 0.02 miles
6.    Turn right onto Norwood Ave. – 0.01 miles
7.    Take the 2nd right onto Forest Ave. – 0.09 miles
8.    Take the first left onto Harris Ave. – 0.01 miles
9.    Stadium is on the right

*$10.00 for adults/Children under 4 free.  Includes a program and also admits you to finals.

Spectators Parking

*All spectators parking will be at on and near the main campus of Shea Stadium

*Concessions available all day or you may bring your own lunches.
*You can come and go as needed, just make sure you get your hand stamped the first time leave the gate or they may have wrist bands.
*You may video if you desire.
*Please be courteous and leave ‘in-between’ band performances.
*Try to keep distractions to a minimum in the stands (cell phones, talking, etc.) while bands are performing.

Important Updates for Friday and Saturday from Mr Webb

1.  Tonight - Guard here by 5:00/everyone else 5:30   (Dark jeans and windsuit tops)

2.  Tomorrow - everyone here by 9:15 sharp!!!!

3.  Don't forget - band shirts, black socks, Guard all black attire!!! etc.  No breakfast, we will take care of lunch
